8 months!

Mav is 8 months!

A lot has happened this past month. 

Mav celebrated his first Easter! He was very excited about the baby food in the basket...and his new avengers ball.

It has finally been nice enough to start taking walks again! He loves being in his stroller and wagon.

He made his first painting. 

He has tried a lot of new food and loves most of it...unless it has a weird texture....then he acts like its poison. 

He is getting around a lot better now...he's still not crawling but pushes himself backwards and gets around that way.

He found out that he is going to be a big brother! 

I think he weighs about 17.5 lbs now.

He is babbling a lot more and sometimes will say dada and mama. 

He will dance to music every once in awhile.

He loves swinging at the park! 

Mav is 7 months!

Mav is 7 months!

This past month was a bit crazy for Mav! 

He currently weighs about 16.5 lbs.

His eyes are still grey looking. Sometimes they look blue or brown depending on the light. 

He has a bunch of hair! It seems to be lighter than what it was when he was first born. 

He is a super smiley baby...unless you want him to smile at the target portrait guy that you are paying to take pictures :).

He currently makes this crazy screechy noise when he is happy...it kind of sounds like a teradactyle. 

He gets very jealous when we are eating and we don't share.

He is very ticklish!

He loves playing with his friends at daycare.

Mav is eating a lot more food now. This past month he has tried quinoa cereal...oat cereal...peas...yogurt....I think that's about it.

He loves watching races with his grandpa....and he pays extra attention to the tv when the Carlson ice arena learn to skate commercial comes on 😄.

He is still loving swim lessons...there have been multiple weeks that I have thought about skipping because he didn't take his nap and is crabby but once he is in the pool he is as happy as can be!

He had his baby dedication at church earlier this month.

He's not crawling yet but he is starting to be able to move himself around a bit more by rolling.

His sitting skills have improved...he's a pro now.

He visited the doctor I think 4 times this past month and had a 5 days hospital stay thanks to rsv and pneumonia. He's feeling much better though now! 

6 months already!

Mav is 6 months old today!

I can't believe how fast time has gone!

He is doing so well in swimming lessons! He is so smiley when in the pool.

He still loves his excersaucer and his feet finally touch the bottom of it! 

Although he loves the excersacer he does seem to want to be able to get around more than her can.

Mav loves animals. Can't wait to bring him to the zoo once this weather warms up!

We haven't tried any new foods in the last few weeks but Mav has decided that pears are not so bad after all.

I think he weighs somewhere around 16 lbs but we will get an exact weight next week at his 6 month check up.

He is wearing 6 month and 9 month clothing.

His hair is finally growing back in thicker!

He is rolling around a lot now.

He loves being tickled. 

He can finally sit up!

He holds his own bottle now.

He gets very jealous when other people are eating.

Before he goes to bed every night he tries to get a few sit ups in....its the weirdest thing but soooo funny!

He loves other kids!
