Nixie and Indy

 Nixon surprised me.
I wasn't sure that she would love her new big sister status right away.
I was wrong though!
The transition from being the baby of the family to the middle child has gone soooo smoothly.
She loves her "dindy"
Since bringing her sister home from the hospital, she has named all of her baby dolls dindy.
and has suddenly started copying many things that I do.
The other day I caught her with some of my breast pump parts down her shirt :)

Nixon is such a sassy but sweet little girl.
I have such a hard time describing her.
During the day, you can usually find her destroying our house.
Her favorite things to do include decorating that bathroom with toilet paper, bathing in the dog's water bowl, and pulling underwear from the clean laundry and wearing it like a hat.
We love our Nixie girl.
She keeps us on our toes...that is for sure.

Although she is usually on the move, when it comes to naps, she is the napping queen.
She has always loved her sleep.
I think God knew we would need some good down time so we could keep up with her during her awake hours.

Before Indy was born, I started a Pinterest board with all kinds of cute photo ideas that I wanted to attempt.
A few (failed) attempts with the girls later, I found that no amount of bribing with candy was going to work.
After talking with my friend about some sweet napping photos that we had seen on instagram, I finally came to the conclusion that napping photos may be the only chance to get a cute picture of them together.

I wish I looked this cute when I sleep!
