Baby # 3

It's about time for a bumpdate!
With Mav, I started posting them somewhere around 8 weeks, Nixie's started a few weeks later, and this baby...better late than never! I am 21 weeks today!
Before I post that though, I figured I would recap on the first weeks of this pregnancy.
A little background information:
In August we went back to Advanced Reproductive Center. We love those people!
October 2nd we found out that I was pregnant!
We had our first ultrasound on October 24th at a bit over 6 weeks. Baby had a strong heartbeat!

I had one more ultrasound there around 7-8 weeks due to a bleed that had me worried.
Everything resolved itself and baby was doing well!
We announced to a few people shortly after, but waited until Nixon's first birthday to make the official announcement.
I was pretty nauseous and had some bad headaches for a couple weeks during the first trimester.
My grandma Wells actually asked me if the headaches were truly because of the weather changes (like i was claiming) or if indeed I was "going to have a baby".
I obviously knew I was pregnant, but was still trying to keep it a secret for the sake of a big surprise at that point.
She claims that she didn't think much of it after I lied and told her again that the headaches were just the result of weather changes....hah sorry grandma!
She had guessed right though!
We did genetic testing again with this pregnancy at 10 weeks and 3 days.
It not only tests for genetic abnormalities, but also allows you to find out the sex of your baby very early on.
I wanted to wait until our gender reveal to find out if we were having a boy or girl, but Jake decided he didn't.
He read the results the day before the party ( i couldn't deal with him knowing more than a week before me!), and then filled a big black balloon with colored confetti.
December 9th, we celebrated our Nixie Girl turning one, and I also found out that we are having another GIRL!!!

We are so excited to add another baby girl to our family!
